I stared into his eyes. Cold eyes, that blue sent chills throughout
my body. So intense, so focused, so divine. Showing no emotion in him,
yet
causing so much in me.
I gritted my teeth and clenched my hands into fists. It irritated me
to no end, the look in his eyes. Still no emotion, never emotion, but mocking.
With every look, every sideways glance, his eyes were mocking me. As
he followed my every move, smirking, his eyes still showed his
laughter towards me.
I growled low in my throat. This did not go unnoticed by the jinzouningen. He mocked me again. This infuriated me more.
"Why don't you just kill me? Get it over with so you can continue your game." I asked, fed up with the staring match.
He laughed, the laughter reaching his eyes solely in mockery, not matching the gentleness in his voice.
"Why do you insist on torturing me? Why can't you just kill me, strike me dead, right here on the spot? Why? Tell me!" I demanded of him.
He offered no answer, continuing to stare at me casually, as if I wasn't
there at all. I growled again, loosing all patience for his game.
Balling
my hand as tight as I could, I lunged for him, swinging my fist fast
and hard towards his face. With the ease only he could posses, he caught
my
fist and held it.
I expected him to do something, anything, to respond in some way, to at least acknowledge his hatred of me.
He smirked.
I growled attempting to yank my fist free of his grasp.
He held me tight, proving who truly has the upper hand.
"Just kill me for God's sake!" I screamed at him, willing the stinging
hotness to stay within my eyes. "Take me away, get rid of me like you have
everyone else..." I muttered quietly, looking down.
With his free hand he drew my face back up, forcing me too look into those uncaring eyes.
"Why do you do this? Why don't you just kill me?" I asked, practically pleading with him.
He smirked again, highly amused by my obvious breakdown. Drawing me
still nearer he brought my ear to his lips. "You always hurt the ones
you love... but never kill them." He whispered, warm breath tickling
my ear.
My eyes widened but before I could question him he pressed his lips
lightly to mine, then was gone. I couldn't move, could barely function,
let
alone think. A solitary tear escaped my eye.
